It may not be a surprise to you when I tell you that I hate winter. It is pretty at times (like the other day when the snowflakes looked just like glitter), but it is also very inconvenient, very dark, and very cold. But luckly I have these MAGICAL slippers to help keep me warm and cozy! They were a very special birthday gift, handcrafted by Ingrid. She is a very talented knitting queen (well, she is talented in many areas, but I'm particularly glad for this special gift she has!). I've literally been wearing them since the temperatures dropped below 60 degrees outside! I even wear them to bed. Thank you Ingrid, for helping to make this winter just a little more bearable. I just hope that I won't still be wearing them in June like I might have last year!!!

Extra snow days thanks to cancelled flights :(
Marissa's flight out to Portland on Saturday was cancelled but she happened to run into an old youth group friend, Kathy, who was stranded at the airport so they have been getting reacquainted as they wait to fly.
Our flight on Sunday was also cancelled and so we spent another day snowed in. Here is our back yard---the snow is covering over half of our fence!!! Wish us luck as we all hope to catch tomorrows morning flight out!

Thanksgiving
What a great day with family! My parents came over from the west side, Riss got off work early to join us, and Keith's family was all here too! I spent the morning watching a little Macy's Parade, and getting the kitchen ready for it's big day (my kitchen and I haven't spent much time together this year!), while Keith played a little soccer with the guys. Everyone started to trickle in around 12, we did crafts with the kids, had lots of time for visiting, and of course there was football on! Oh, and did I forget to mention the FOOD?! It was pretty awesome :) I am very thankful for all of it! Here are a few pictures of our fun day. Alli and Jeter just finished up the cute place cards and were playing a game.
Mr. Turkey, about to hang out in the oven for a few hours.

Here is the spread---YUM!
GG is the baby whisperer
And let's finish the night off with a little dress up... that is Rece's favorite thing in the world, so it's a good think we have a wig and a sword!

A little more Jason
So this is a gimpse into my new life with Keith after the Jason Mraz concert...He so thoughtfully taught us all this fun dance and now my dear husband dances this way to everything----even during worship songs at church!
And a little shout out to our friend Ryan Kiely! We couldn't help but miss your awesome dancing as we took in all ofJason's many amazing moves :) We miss you, and can't wait to see some new Korean dance moves!
Jason Mraz is AMAZING!
Thanks to Marissa, Keith and I were introduced to his talent a few years ago---and we have been hooked ever since! On Friday, Marissa, Jon, Ingrid, Keith and I enjoyed an evening of Jason... He is seriously so great live! WE LOVE HIM! Here you can enjoy him too :)

The Babies
Mask Making 101
1. Make your husband(s) go to Micheals with you to help pick out the perfect mask (or the cheapest/creepiest one).
2. use a hot glue gun to attach LOTS of feathers and other random items found in your kitchen.
3. Try not to stick your finger in the wet glitter glue it will get on your jeans and in your hair!
4. Or just wear a different kind of mask.
Megan's baby even wore a mask!
Auntie Meghan Meets Madelyn!
This weekend was Scott's high school reunion so I made a quick trip down to meet my new "niece" Madelyn!
